Kayla was born in Dallas, TX and moved to Greensboro, NC as a small child where she grew up and obtained her BS in Business Administration at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2014.
In January 2016 she relocated to Arizona to be closer to her family and to ultimately pursue her life long dream of becoming involved in the veterinary field. Kayla started at Duval Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Assistant and has worked her way up to Veterinary Technician and now Practice Manager. Kayla is very excited to be using her back ground in business and experience in the veterinary field to continue to make a difference in the lives of companion animals and their owners.
She currently lives with her 2 dogs, Noah (AKA Boogie), a 7 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel,Eddie, an Australian Cattle Dog Mix and her 1 cat, Baby Ennis. Kayla lost her 9 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Gracie this past March 2018 to congestive heart failure.
In Kayla's free time she enjoys going to the barn to spend time with her family horse, Traveller, spending time with friends and family, grilling, and anything outdoors.
Kayla is very happy to have joined the Duval team and cannot think of doing anything better or more rewarding than working with animals and their loving owners.
